Islam has no official color that represents it, however many muslims have adopted "Green" as the color of Islam. Today being "green" means being environmentally conscious, concerned about climate change and energy conservation etc.
It has been only a recent phenomenon that Nation, Corporations and various big world players have moved towards this "Green" trend. But what does Islam say about being environmentally friendly? Has Islam taught us to conserve and protect our planet all along? Is Islam consistent and compatible with this new movement?
Please check out out latest video entitled "Green Living From the Heart" by Dr K.A. Tayebi. This lecture was recorded at the Windsor Islamic Association's Open House in October.
